Why do I need aftercare?
Aftercare & Maintenance is so important to the health of your hair and how good the extensions look.
We have previously seen people coming into the salon with matted hair extensions due to poor maintenance from another salon. This is why we have integrated the maintenance within the salon in to the cost of the extensions. All extensions include a free blowdry, check-up, removal & aftercare.
Different extension types and brands last for different time periods. For example, our in-house brand Loxcette, last around 2 months.
Removal by a professional is important especially if you are having a new set or a colour service.
It is very common for someone to come into have their extensions removed and also have a colour service and/or a cut.
By coming back into The Hairdresser for removal, we are able to assess the health of your hair and advise the best steps forward.

Hayleigh and Lucy are a great team and made me feel so comfortable. The salon is gorgeous and always so clean.
